Payment information
Checkout is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are not stored on our systems. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited details such as the last four digits of the card, the card brand, and the billing name and address. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This comes from server logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and measure our advertising. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money.
Email and text messages
If you opt in to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any message. If you opt in to text messages, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help; message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of purchase. We will still send you transactional messages about orders you place.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you may contact us to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and (if applicable) sell or share; the right to request deletion or correction; the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share as those terms are defined); and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here and to satisfy our legal, tax and accounting obligations — typically several years for transaction records. Marketing contacts are kept until you opt out or ask us to delete them.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections on our website and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
HookBoss products are sold to trade professionals and adults. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
